Holiday Inn Boston Logan Airport Hotel

This hotel is open and operating while undergoing extensive overhaul and renovation. It has been obtained by Marriott and will be a Courtyard by October of 2008. All guestrooms have been refurbished, and although the outdoor pool is currently closed, plans are underway for a state-of-the-art fitness center with both indoor and outdoor pool. Disturbance to guests during renovation is low, especially now that the rooms are all finished. The restaurant is currently reduced in capacity and variety of fare because of kitchen renovation, but that is also going to be fully updated and returned to full operation.

Made last minute reservations for the holiday weekend. We felt the price was reasonable by comparison to others. The hotel was very close to the Wood Island station and free transport to & from the station was great. Beds were very comfortable with thick down comforters & lots of pillows. Breakfast buffet in hotel restaurant was very nice. All staff were very helpful. No charge for parking the car @ the hotel.

The room rate was too high.

The workout area was small and it only had one treadmill. There was not much weightlifting equipment. They did not have any towels in the workout room to clean off the sweat.

I liked the hotel's convenience to the airport and its access to services to reach the city.
