Holiday Inn Atlanta Downtown Hotel

This hotel is a two blocks from Turner Field (baseball). The web site we booked this on did not mention this. The two days i stayed here, just happen to be on nights that there were home games. Trying to get back to the hotel from downtown Atlanta was a nightmare! The city/police close off traffic to the stadium until after the game! I had to find an alternate route back to the hotel from downtown. It took me past some seedy parts of town. The front desk was of no help with directions. So unless you plan of attending a Braves home game, do not stay here.

The hotel had a good location near where I had to be in the morning.

This hotel made me feel practical: They had good rates for the area and I liked the fast check out.

It was very centrally located which was nice. The shuttle service could have been better.

I was overall pleased with my stay, I had no complaints. I was close to the attractions I wanted to visit.

They ran out of parking and the additional parking lot was shut down so that I could not retrieve my car when I needed it. They did not charge for parking, however. Also, the elevator broke down, but they got it fixed promptly.
