I made reservations on-line through Hotwire. I called and confirmed two days ahead, and the day of our check in. I requested two beds and non-smoking. I have five year old twins and it was our first time taking them to Disneyland.
We were given a smoking room, and my daughter has asthma. They said they had no more non-smoking rooms. I called from my cell half an hour later, and I was told they did in fact have some of their more expensive rooms, that were non-smoking available. My husband and five year old daughter had to sleep outside in our rental car, due to the room causing her to have an asthma attack. This hotel is run by cheap, heartless, disorganized, and dishonest people. They didn't even offer to pay for her 1.10 cup of hot chocolate when she came back inside freezing!
They basically told me tough, and offered no apology. We still went to Disneyland, and were there a total of five hours. We had pre-paid for all of our tickets and had upgraded to both parks. We spent four of our five hours with my daughter in the First Aid station receiving breathing treatments! Every day I am alive, I will tell someone this story and hopefully I live a very, very long life.
Would I stay here again? Only if I was drugged, and brought in by brute force.
