We booked Hoilday Inn resort 2 rooms thro' Priceline for 2 nights.
When confirmed through phone the lady promised non smoking kids room with bunkbed.
My husband checked in the while we waited in our van, the man at the front desk told my husband that they have only room with king' size bed available.They gave two rooms in two different floors!
I went to talk to the front desk personnel to figure out why the roomm we booked was not available.He says that they have a deal with Priceline to offer only king size bed.So they only offer room with king size bed to Priceline customers.To accommodate kids he asked me to rent extra foldaway beds or pay additional $30 to get a room kids room with bunkbed.While I reminded him of the description of the reservation the lady gave while we confirmed our bookings, he said that it was the 1-800 Holiday Inn number service lady talking and she was generally saying things.
While I asked him to refund my money , he refused rudely saying that we don't have your money , go ask Priceline.
When we entered the room, I was shocked to see a dirty totally unclean room.The bed was made but the linnen looked dirty, the AC has pieces or cracker pieces and dirty finger prints all over the wall, the bath room had orange mold on the tub,shower holder, the countertops and furniture had dirty fingerprints all over.The towels smelled food.
We called for housecleaning and the lady at least cleaned the AC for us.
All the four of us spent the night on a single king sized bed.
The next day my husband went and asked the front desk to give in writing that they Priceline customers are only entitled for Room with king size bed, the personnel at the front desk, this time a lady said Priceline customers are also offered rooms with two full sized bed too and asked us to talk to the person who checked us in for the letter.
So while checking out of the 3 and a 1/2 stared Holiday Inn, my husband got to meet the front desk who had checked us in.He again denied that the rooms were available when checked in and since we booked thro' Priceline we got room with king size bed only.He also said to my husband that he had offered me fold able bed free of cost and I walked out of it.
To summarize the HOLIDAY INN RESORT at Anaheim was the worst 3 star hotel I have visited until now.They lie, they discriminate and most of all the rooms are unclean,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
