Holiday Inn Addison Hotel

When I made my reservation was promised free breakfast. Well we had to pay but got it back because I complained. they explained they just changed it 03/22/08. Three other families were lied to at reservation time and had to pay for breakfast. The room was large but run down and out dated. The t.v. was to small for the room and young man at the desk clerk was rude had to speak to the manager. The fruit they gave was old I threw it in the trash was not worth eating.

Our room was booked through Hotwire. When we arrived at the hotel, the staff was very nice and helpful. Our reservation was upgraded due to a booking mistake by Hotwire. Our room exceed our expectations, and our stay was very enjoyable. The room was very nice. The only change I would make would be that they provide a continental breakfast.

They forgot me at the airport and then they told me to take a cab which I did. They did pay for it. The phone in my room would not work except to call the desk or another room. They tried to fix it but it was on a Friday night. The manager told me he would help us, but he did not. They advertise a full service business center, but there was no printer. They did not even direct me to Kinko's which we located a few blocks from the hotel. The assistant manager did help. She printed our boarding passes in her office for us. The two night clerks tried hard and the night manager offered a complimentary night. There is no food service in the hotel. The room attendant did a great job cleaning for me. She is a lovely lady and most concerned that the work be done correctly. They gave me a late check out, but their word did not get passed and that was a mess as well.
