Welcome to Tyler's oldest B&B, The Woldert-Spence Manor Bed and Breakfast Inn. We are a historic landmark restored to its prior beauty, and the closest lodging facility to the downtown Tyler square. We have a total of 8 guest rooms, 6 in the main house (2 downstairs and 4 upstairs) and the Rockway and Mockingbird carriage houses in the back. All rooms have private bathrooms with wall-mounted hairdryers, cable TV, and wireless (WIFI) internet access. Most rooms have queen-size beds, and some are available with fireplaces and private porches or balconies. Plus, all of our rates include a delicious full country breakfast served to you in our lovely formal Dining Room. Bring your swimsuit and you can enjoy the Jacuzzi in the backyard, or step across the street to use the new salt water pool at the neighboring YMCA (complimentary access for our guests). We are Tyler's oldest B&B, and the closest lodging facility to historic downtown Tyler. An 1859 Tyler Historic Landmark, the Manor is a restored Queen Anne Victorian home. The house is set back on a large corner lot surrounded by brick streets and many mature shade trees. There is a covered jacuzzi in the relaxing Rear Garden along with a koi pond, gazebo, wishing well, and large back deck. The main house has original oak and heart-of-pine wood floors, wood moulding, and gorgeous stained-glass windows. All 7 rooms have private baths, some featuring claw-foot tubs. Additional features in some rooms include queen-size beds, fireplaces, private balconies or porches. One of the rooms is a private carriage house for that home-away-from-home feeling. An all-you-can-eat country breakfast is served on china, crystal and silver in the formal dining room. We are just minutes from many attractions including Tyler's Rose Garden, fine dining, antique stores, Tyler State Park, and more. There is something for everyone to enjoy while in Tyler!
