Hilton Wilmington Riverside Hotel - Page 2

I have been staying at the Hilton hotel in Riverside for over ten years. I am always satisfied.

It is a very comfortable, water situated, downtown hotel.

This hotel made me feel elegant: The interiors are attractive. It had a great view overlooking the river.

The room and the hotel were overall nice but not up to Hilton's standards. The cleaning staff did not clean the rooms well each day and the water temperature in the shower was so inconsistent that it was difficult to use at times. The pool was nice but not secured and people not staying at the hotel came and went.

The wonderful location was within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The lighting needs to be upgraded in the bathroom area.

I liked the location on the waterfront. I did not like the fact that one of the phones in my room did not work.

The place looked very rundown.

This hotel is old and in need of upgrades. But it's conveniently located to shopping.

This hotel is very convenient and friendly place. It's not too big or corporate.

I needed a receipt from the restaurant the next morning. It was my fault, I forgot to get it at dinner. But it couldn't be retrieved. They had deleted it from their computer. They had paper record, but they did not bother to look.

The hotel was clean. It provided good service and great big towels.

This hotel made me feel respected: I am legally blind and they respected that and treated me accordingly. They did a good job.

The hotel, overall, was beautiful. We were there for the Marine Corps ball and everything was very nice.

This hotel made me feel welcome: It was very nice and very clean. We came in before we were dressed for the ball and none of the employees treated us any differently.

As in many hotel rooms, the reading light was insufficient. The room layout was awkward, and the room smelled of mold and mildew.
