LOCATION.$22 valet parking, $10 Internet, very noisy/rowdy guests. While they tout a recent remodel, it's really not much of a remodel. Just some new furniture in the rooms. Beds uncomfortable, dirty, old carpets in the halls, loud, rowdy guests...

While staying at the Hilton Huntington Beach Waterfront Resort, the staff was more than happy to spend some time with me on finding a local restaurant even though they were busy.

The Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort has a great location in Huntington Beach. Within walking distance to Main Street and across the street from the beach.

The Hilton Waterfont Beach Resort is located right on the Pacific Coast Highway, across from the beach. This location is great because it's only about 3 blocks (5 min walk) from the shops, restaurants and bars of downtown Huntington Beach, and the pier. (see photos in my journal entry)
The hotel itself is a high-rise, about 15 stories I think. We stayed near the top, on the Club level, and had a nice view of Orange County and the ocean. The room was clean and as expected - no surprised positive or negative, except I couldn't believe they had bottles of Evian water that cost $5 if you opened them. This seems like a rip off.
The top level had a club lounge which had a happy hour from 5-7 with cocktails and beer for purchase, and some cheese and snacks. It was ok, but the service up there was great - they gave me some cokes when I came by at 2pm, and a razor because I left mine at home.
The pool area is big and has a nice view of the ocean, but doesn't get sun until the afternoon. My gripe about the pool area is that on the Saturday we were there, they had workmen trimming the palm trees, so we couldn't use the hot tub. Why can't the workmen come on a weekday?
I was also disappointed that the parking was $12 per day - also seemed a bit high.
Bottom line is that this is a good location and view for the price.
