The Hilton Silver Spring in the suburban Maryland city's business district puts guests just two blocks from a Metro station where they can catch 10-minute rides into downtown Washington. They are about five to 10 miles from all of government buildings, museums, monuments, memorials, performing-arts centers, trendy restaurants and shops, and upscale neighborhoods. As for the Hilton's dining options, guests can pick from northern Italian fare at Sergio's and Capital Bleu's French-inspired menu and live jazz. The hotel also features a state-of-the-art business center, indoor pool, exercise facility, and 15,000 square feet of meeting space for family get-togethers, corporate confabs and other gatherings. Festooned with browns, golds and blues, the Hilton's 263 guestrooms offer comfy pillow-top mattresses with piles of pillows. They also feature digital music, oversized worktables with pullout laptop trays and adjustable chairs, multiple phones, video-game consoles, and Internet access via the TV. Air travelers are 21 miles, 29 miles and 30 miles respectively from Reagan National, Baltimore-Washington and Dulles international airports. there were 3 groups of us staying at the hilton in silver spring. There were no fridges available, and if there were they charge you extra for a fridge. You couldn't connect to the internet through the cable and there was no wi-fi internet, the t.v. has a proprietary remote and it takes forever to change the channel. we had a dinner there and the service was terrible, i had to keep asking for stuff several times, and the sun was coming in the front windows and blinding me, they had no curtains or anything to put in front of it. The guy at the front desk told us that all bars were closed at like midnight.. its a city... they were all open..

Okay
Was expecting alot more from a Hilton seeing as how I have stayed in so many. Very small bathroom which could not fit two people in any way. The parking thing is adressed in many other reviews so I will not repeat it here except to say that they...

Okay
I have stayed in this hotel a few times over the past 2 years. Recently I stayed and was very disappointed. First of all, I hate having to pay for valet parking when I can park the car myself. I feel this is a money-making scheme. I wouldn't...

The room was very comfortable and reasonably priced with AAA membership. The staff was helpful, although check out was slow due to a printer down. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the service was outstanding. Vending hard to find if you're on a different floor. Beware of room 928, the gym tv is on the opposite side of the bedroom wall and can get loud if someone is working out and watching the tv. Bed was very comfortable and room temp was easy to control. Great amenities in bathroom. Very clean. Would definitely go again. As a side note, parking was approx. $10

Excellent
The room was everything I'd expect from a Hilton, though the bathroom was a little on the small side. Bed was very comfortable, and the entire hotel was very clean and neat, even though they may have had a smaller staff on hand due to the holiday...

When we arrived, we had to wait for over forty five minutes for our hotel room, even though we arrived after the time they guaranteed our rooms would be ready.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Hilton Washington DC/Silver Spring.
I might recommend it to friends.
