The unique Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront hotel combines a reverence for the history of St. Augustine with the modern day luxuries and amenities guests expect in a Hilton. The hotel's intimate size and feel are reminiscent of a boutique hotel, and yet it offers the extensive services and facilities that are usually found only in much larger hotels. The charming, vibrant Spanish Colonial Period structure consists of a "hollow square" design, in this case, 19 different buildings set around an inner courtyard and connected by an interior corridor. The buildings were inspired by the Second Spanish Colonial historic period, with wooden balconies, cedar-shake & tile roofs, with different elevations and colors that allow it to blend in with its surroundings. Virtually all Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront hotel rooms offer stunning views of Matanzas Bay or the city of St. Augustine's historic district.Situated in the Historic District of "America's Oldest City", the Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront hotel is within walking distance to many of the area's finest restaurants and most popular attractions. Horse drawn carriages and the Historic Trolley transport visitors from the hotel through the streets of the old city. Historical points of interest include the Spanish Colonial Castillo de San Marco National Monument, dating from 1672, the original Government House and the magnificent Victorian structures of the period built by Henry Flagler including Flagler College formerly his grand hotel. The hotels facilities include an outdoor pool and hot tub, fitness center, business center, concierge service and a guest laundry and valet service. The Menendez and Ponce rooms, 800 square feet each or 1600 square feet when combined, can accommodate meetings of up to 125 people or of banquets up to 100. The 250 square foot Board Room can accommodate 12 and offers views of the bay. Great St. Augustine hotel and staff. Very elegant and in the heart of St. Augustine area attractions. Also a great wedding spot! I noticed the set up for a very elegant wedding while passing through.

I am a Hilton HHonors member who has never had an issue at any Hilton hotel brand until now. The room and the location at the Hilton in St. Augustine were fine but our car was damaged while in the care of the on site valet (there is no other on site parking available and dragging our luggage from another parking facility wasn't our idea of a vacation). When we picked up our car the next morning the center console cover was broken off in two pieces and the cup insert was missing. Not a big deal except that it cost over $200 to fix since the entire cup assembly and lid were all connected. The valet that morning was responsive and filled out the damage report and gave me the General Manager's contact information. I sent the repair receipt to the General Manager after I had the repairs done along with a copy of the valet report and valet ticket. A few days letter I received a letter from the hotel basically accusing us of fraud. The letter stated that the console was broken before the car was turned over to the valet. I made a reasonable effort to give the hotel a chance to make this right, but given their completely offensive and inadequate response I feel it is now appropriate to warn others about what happened. If you stay at this hotel use the valet parking at your own risk.

The hotel was extremely clean, especially the bathrooms. The bar was nice, the bartender was very friendly. Room service was wonderful, the food was amazing, and the service was unbelievably efficient.
It was like spending the night at a rich person's house.
I am very likely
to return to the Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
