Hilton Singer Island Oceanfront Resort Resort - Page 1

I have to say that I am overly impressed with our weekend stay at the Hilton at Singer Island, the staff was great even before we arrived. Nicole the reservation specialist is wonderful along with Oscar who went out of his way and made our trip even more amazing. The restaurant had great food and the morning breakfast buffet was even better. The ocean view was amazing and coconuts tiki bar was also wonderful and the bartenders even better! Great beach access couldn't find better and the pool area was well kept. I would recommend this for just about anyone and any situation! The rooms were great with very soft beds and fabulous staff!! If you need a driver to get around the area ask for Jon!

After booking another hotel not to my satisfaction, myself and 5 kids left the Palm Beach Oceanfront Inn and called the Hilton on Singer Island. I explained the situation to them and they sent a car for us. Oscar, the driver took us for a tour of Palm Beach. We arrived at the Hilton and were given a junior suite. When we arrived in our room, there was a bottle of champagne on ice, a bowl of strawberries, soda, water and some chocolates with compliments from the Hilton. The room was beautiful and we could not have gotten better service anywhere else. The restaurant was wonderful, food great! My thanks to Oscar, Sean and Helen for making our trip a memorable one. I will never stay in any hotel except a Hilton.

So, the concierge was nice, as was the maid.

The room? Loud, most of the outlets didn't work and were loose or poorly installed, the plumbing fixtures were falling apart & rusting, the AC was loud & not particularly effective. Then we get to the bad stuff: The restaurant? Let's see, after eating there the first day, we went to Denny's the second day. Dennys rated better on service, quality, and price. I would expect Denny's to be cheaper, but for $13 bacon, eggs & toast ought to be cooked right with quality ingredients and a good server. None was true of Hilton.

So, save your money & sleep under a bridge.

(Hilton Diamond Member) – In 20 years of traveling up to 120 nights a year I have prematurely checked out of approx 5 hotels. This is one. Arrived at 2PM and was told that an “upgraded room” would be available by 4:00PM. Went to the bar for lunch and based on the lack of service, left and ate off property. When we returned at 4:30 the reserved room preferences were unavailable and we were checked into a so called “upgraded room” that was dated and right above the kitchen vents. Can you say super size? The manager (to his credit) offered a discounted rate. However, based on managements inability to govern the quality their staff and overall state of the facility we checked out. If this is how this property treats “Hiltons” most frequent clients……..

I was pleased with the unexpectedly comfortable bed, the polite and friendly maids and the ocean view.
