Rooms are stunning. Great views of the bay from high floors. Friendly staff. Outstanding Concierge service.
When you walk around the neighborhood, you are in a bit of a sketchy china town area, not the heart of the financial district. But if you want to stay at a Hilton, this is a great option.

Okay
If you like noisy rooms with street noise from 20 floors below coming into your room like you were at street level because the hotel lacks proper sound insulation, or you welcome hearing the TV in the room next to you while you try to sleep then...

I have paid parking fees before in San Fran but it was exceptional for this trip. The valet service was $46 plus tax which put at about $54 per day and if you add a tip, you are at $60 per day. It seemed that I could have parked myself but I didn't...

45 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
I recently spent two night at this Hilton. The hotel was great. Polite & helpful staff. The room was very good. Had a beautiful view of Coit Tower, nice amenities and comfortable beds. I would definitely stay there again.
My problem was with the spa, Tru Spa. I had made a reservation, over the phone, for a massage. The morning of my appointment I had to cancel. I was rudely informed that there is a 24 cancellation policy and that I would be charged the full fee, $185. I placed two calls to the spa manager. She was unhelpful and curt. She said that the cancellation policy was clearly stated on their web site. Seeing I did not make my appointment on line I was unaware of this.
I am contesting the charge with my credit card co.
