I love the location - walking distance to theater, concert hall.Noisy. We saw two balloons taped to the outside of the room next door. I was a little concerned about a party going on. Sure enough, noise all night. I didn't want to wake my husband...

Ease of check in and check out.Allows smoking on some floors. This is a fine hotel with efficient staff and a great location in downtown Portland. Although clean, our room reeked of smoke causing nasal congestion and lingering odor on our clothing.
