We checked in at 3:00 as we were informed we could do. There was no valet parking available! We were there for a Steelers Game. We were told it was a 5 minute walk to the stadium when I booked. It was at least 15 or more. My daughter and husband has had major back surgeries and difficulty with long walks. During check-in we were told there would be at least another 30 minute wait for non-smoking room. We were tired after the long drive there and opted for the smoking room. What a huge mistake!! Then to make matters worse the hotel was very noisy with a dog barking throughout the night and people yelling.
I am not likely
to return to the Hilton Pittsburgh.
I would not recommend it to friends.
what did you love and what did you hate, such a good questuon.the hotel was very nice, and most of the staff were great.but if youdont go early you will have no place to park your car they have 741 rooms and 151 parking places.the rooms do not look like the rooms they show you on line but they are very nice.they also didnot have the room we requested they said it was not ready.we arived at 6:30 pm made the resevation two months ahead.

The room was great ,comfy mattress, wonderful view. That's where it ends. Checking in was noisy with a jack hammer right at valet parking that could be heard all thru the hotel, and we were on the 9th floor! There was complimentary coffee and tea in the rooms but no pot to brew or heat water.Lastly $2.00 beers and 50 cent wings were offered in the bar after the Steelers game.Good deal we thought. Our very busy little waitress brought plain old deep fried wings(no sauce of any kind) We inquired of sauce and was brought ketchup and mustard!! Asked another very busy waitress for any sauce and was forgotten about..Finally had to ask a bartender for sauce and was promptly taken care of.The hotel was totally unprepared for post game fans, and the fans were all very polite and patient.
