Our stay there was such a great one that I have told all my friends and family to book their next visit in the area at The Hilton. Room service was wonderful and Starbucks was just as great
The hotel is run by foreigners who needed english lessons and had no idea what hospitality means. The best thing about the place was the recent lobby makeovers. But dont be fooled! Its a cover-up! The service was horrid. They have a in-house cab...

slow shuttle. Stayed 1 night, 8/18/06. Thought transit to city would be easy by train via Newark Airport. Hotel was clean, front desk polite, efficient. Room very clean, neat. Housekeeping was VERY noisy next morning. Loudly banging furniture in next room. To go to NYC by train: Shuttle bus leaves every 20 minutes. The driver is very slow and leisurely, even if people are running late. While the train stop is only 1/2 mile away,(you can't walk to it, only access via monorail from newark airport parking lot P4), it took 30 minutes to get to the station. Driver kept stopping to wave at friends, pick up people he knew, etc. Unfortunately, this caused me to miss an important meeting in the city. The hotel was fine, but I may search out a hotel with faster transportation connections, perhaps Hilton at (downtown) Newark train station.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Hilton Newark Airport.
I might recommend it to friends.

Excellent
Our family stayed here on a recent trip to NYC. The hotel is right across from the airport, but is extremly quiet! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and very comfortable. We had reserved 2 rooms with 2 double beds, and we were ...

It was fine. There was construction in the lobby which was very unappealing. I thought the hotel entrance would be a bit more upscale for a Hilton hotel.

Okay
Room was fine but was not quite up to Hilton standards. The air conditioner did not work but fortunately it was cool enough that it didn't matter.
The staff was nice.
You have to pay $8.00 for parking which is disaapointing to say the least.

Good
This was a decent hotel. Nothing like other Hilton's I have stayed at (more like a Holiday Inn). Decent rooms. Housekeeping was annoying and did not clean up like they should be overall not bad.
