For a hotel in Central Manhattan, it seemed very reasonable.

This hotel made me feel content: The staff was friendly. The hallways were well-lighted and the rooms were well-maintained.

The room was very good. It was pretty large.

This hotel made me feel excited: It was during the Republican National Convention and they had many unusual things going on.

It was better than expected, but I prefer a smaller hotel.

This hotel made me feel welcome: They provided extra assistance with a paperwork issue I was having. They went above and beyond the call of duty, so to speak.

The conference facilities and staff were terrible.

This hotel needs some serious updating. My room did not have high-speed internet access, but apparently 60% of the rooms do. They need consistency on this. I have another problem. I was significantly overcharged for mini bar items did not use.

Before I retired. I was a broadcast executive with responsibilities for TV stations affiliated with ABC, CBS and NBC. All 3 of these networks are within walking distance of the NY Hilton. Thus, the Hilton was my hotel of choice. I was always welcome.

This hotel made me feel sophisticated: I'm a college student and we were at the Hilton for the model UN conference. It was the most expensive hotel I've ever stayed in.

We especially liked the check-in by kiosk. We were 2 hours early and yet we were allowed to go to our room. This was very much appreciated.

They called us by our first and last names, and most importantly, they treated us with the same courtesy even though we were Priceline users. At a prior stay at the Westin Pittsburgh, I had been told that you don't get what 'usual guests get' if you're a Priceline user.

I was not able to get a plastic spoon because the restaurant was closed. I had to eat my food with my hands.

I stayed at Hilton on 6th Ave. The bathroom, while clean and bright, had little counter space. I'm not really complaining, but both my wife and I noticed this enough to comment.

This hotel made me feel inspired: They went out of their way to see that we enjoyed ourselves.
