The hotel was located very convenient to where my meetings were taking place. The staff was helpful, but not always friendly. The room service food was high quality and quick. While staying at the hotel, my room was assigned to other guests and they walked into my room while I was still in bed.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The rooms were very comfortable and the bedding and pillows were very comfortable

The hotel did not know what amenities where in what rooms. The decor was drab. The wireless internet service had no signal unless you were sitting on the bed. The bathroom space was cramped. The card entry door worked when it wanted to. There were false charges for the mini bar use, when the mini bar was never opened!

I am a Hilton Honors Club member, both personal and company, and stay almost exclusively at Hilton hotels. Over the past ten years I have stayed at the Hilton Avenue of the Americans hotel at least two times a year. It's a great location and the proximity to subway, business and leisure activities and the quality of service and accommodations are outstanding. The only negative experience I have ever experienced with the Hilton occurred this past June when I made reservations for the NAEA convention. At this time I was required to make a deposit of approximately two hundred and forty dollars, equivalent to one night's stay, in order to reserve a room. A deposit of approximately two hundred and forty dollars was charged to my American Express card. I was a very disappointed and a little insulted this occurred. The reservation associate noted the money was refundable if I cancelled three days before the scheduled arrival.

The location of hotel was not what we requested, but it was fine. The guest service staff was helpful regarding tourist questions, although the reservation staff was not very friendly.

In traveling to New York for the More Marathon for Women, I chose to stay at the host hotel, the Hilton and I was pleased with the accommodations and of course, the proximity to everything. The staff was efficient and helpful and the room was quite nice. We stayed on the concierge level, which was a nice treat.
