The only reason I paid so much was because it was prime time and we wanted to be in the center of all the activity. I did think it was priced quite high but every hotel was charging a lot.

I am very likely to return to the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Where Harrah casinos don't have their own hotels, Hiltons are usually one of their partner hotels. Each one that my wife and I have stayed at has always been quite nice, with friendly staff. And, of course not having to pay for them is extremely nice.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I had problems with the television remote. The receipt left under the door said the room was $ - compted. There was an $89 charge on my Visa Card for the visit.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.

The cost for the room is quite high. In addition, the hotel charges full price for parking. I have stayed at hotels as nice as the Hilton (e.g. Marriott, Hyatt) in downtown metro areas such as Houston, where at least the parking is included in the room price. What the Hilton offers in terms of extra services and 'prestige' does not justify the price being twice as much as hotels in the same area. Additionally, Hiltons in smaller towns like Lafayette, LA, Greenville, NC, etc., tend to be rundown, crummy establishments that charge twice as much as other less prestigious (but cleaner, newer, nicer facilities) hotels on the same block.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.
I might recommend it to friends.

The front desk clerk, when I checked in, was fantastic. But I was a bit disappointed that there is not an all-night cafe. And, in the regular cafe, there was no healthy food and lots of indoor smokers. It was not progressive!

This hotel made me feel excited: My room's view of the river was breathtaking; the plethora of shopping on the riverfront was varied and upbeat; the urban atmosphere in the front of the hotel was great.

I am very likely to return to the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

It's the best location in New Orleans for Mardi Gras.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: We were there during Mardi Gras and after walking around so much, the king-sized bed was really comfortable.

I was originally booked at the Doubletree, but had some problems with ants in the bed. Harrah's moved us to the Hilton. The Hilton was very pleasant to stay in.

The hotel had a very friendly and helpful concierge. They helped me to find a wonderful restaurant serving local cuisine close enough to walk to from the hotel.
