Stayed three days in June 2007.
The staff was terrific......ALL of them!!
The bed was great .... one of the new "Hilton" beds.
The location/site/beach are spectacular!!
The food/restaurant/bar were very good.......indoor/outdoor types.
The room was small and "older" than the building ....... used and abused.
The new bed was an anomaly to the rest of the room!
I, too, had a peeling ceiling .... it had been wet at sometime!
Also, I had ants ....... those little tiny ones on the desk and on the vanity!
But none of the typical "Florida" palmetto-type bugs, etc.
No musty odors so typical in FL. and the hvac was ok.
I reported all of the above on the Hilton follow-up survey .... no response.
A decent updating and remodeling of the room would make it an A-1 place to stay instead of a C+.
We will give it another try because of the location ...... but only one more try.
If we have the same kind of room, I'll ask for our money back.
