Excellent
Thumpy97 icon Quiet location, close to tube station

57 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

This hotel is very nice. Located in a quiet residential area with not much traffic. It is only a short walk to the tube station and there's a bus that goes directly to Piccadily Circus. The rooms are a little small compared to their equivilent in the U.S., but are charming and nice. Stick to either the executive room or the twin room, which is larger than the double room and includes a tub/shower combo as compared to only a shower. The price is a good value as well.

We upgraded to the executive suite, which included a complimentary all-you-can-eat buffet-style breakfast with access to the executive lounge that had free soft drinks, fruit drinks, and water all day. And from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. had free coffee, tea, beer, hard liquor, and appetizers. The executive lounge has two nice, quiet outdoor patios with tables that we enjoyed as well.

One minor complaint would be the climate control, which the staff seems helpless to do anything about. But the front desk provides free currency exchange, which is nice, with the staff professional and friendly. The restaurants in the lobby are expensive and overpriced even if the food is good.
