It’s a nice hotel. It has a friendly staff, however the location was off of the Strip, possibly a bit inconvenient, however the monorail made it a little easier to get around.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Hilton Las Vegas.
I might recommend it to friends.

Construction was in progress during my stay and it made using the hotels coffee shop or restaurant a much less than desirable experience. Also, there were major disruptions in the check-in and check-out process.

I am not likely to return to the Hilton Las Vegas.
I would not recommend it to friends.

The Hilton has always been our favorite when staying in Las Vegas. The size of the hotel and casino are just right, not as huge as some. It is very easy to get around the hotel and casino. There is no congestion!

I am very likely to return to the Hilton Las Vegas.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I thought the Hilton was a great place to visit, just off the Strip, at a reasonable price. I should warn that it is a few blocks off the main Strip so if one doesn't like walking, they should expect to pay a fee for a taxi, or for the monorail that connects to the hotel.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Hilton Las Vegas.
I might recommend it to friends.

As a kid, traveling with my parents, I thought Hilton Hotels were a class act. Not this one! Surly desk staff, lukewarm water in the showers, loose baseboard tiles , interminable waits for the elevators, a pool that literally stinks because all the restaurants vent near that area. I requested a non-smoking when I reserved (2 months in advance) and again on check-in. I got a room with ashtrays and the smell of stale smoke.

Stayed in the older rooms of the property during late July. Rooms were large & comfortable & well maintained. The entire hotel is well maintained & presented. Being off the strip is provides a little protection from the hustle & bustle; & transport is easy with the monorail stop at the hotel. Great food choices in the hotel & can highly recommended Paradise Alley for a good meal at great prices. The pool area can be a bit unpleasant due to all that concrete which reflects the heat; but easily avoided during the hotest part of the day. A pleasure to stay here.

Driving up to the hotel, it looks like you're in for an amazing time. Especially staying at a place with the name "Hilton" in it. Get out, walk into the lobby and suddenly you're taken aback by the overwhelming cloud of cigarette smoke. So, if you smoke then you'll be fine with this. For other's who don't and really don't like it, be prepared. Checking in is another adventure. Be prepared to spend upwards from 20 minutes in line. The rooms are fine. Nothing to get excited about. Had a decent view up on the 25th floor overlooking the strip. But, you also have to wait forever to get an elevator. Hint: Look around there's a few elevators that are in the back areas people don't know about. If you need something from housekeeping it'll be about 30 minutes before they get it to you. The casino is nice, a lot of variety. The bar is tiny. Buffet isn't so good. I would recommend going to another hotel for theirs, like the Luxor. Breakfast at the buffet will cost about 12 per person. That's the only thing we ate there for the buffet. Hacienda Margarita is okay. Not the best Mexican food I've ever eaten, although their salsa is damn good. Be prepared to spend a lot here too. If you aren't too hungry but need something, you can opt do to their appetizers and drinks at a smaller table for less money. The cafe isn't the best either. Pancakes need to be cut with a knife and are really rubbery. The hotel looks extremely nice though it can get dirty from all the drinks left everywhere. Individuals are allowed to smoke all over except the stores and dining areas. Star Trek area is really cool. A must check out for any fan. Take advantage of the monorail, it's convenient and cheaper than a taxi. Ask for the all day pass it runs at $8.00 per person (it's cheaper than the 10-ride pass) And look for coupons in hotel magazines and in the back of taxis.

Convenient to the Convention Center. Housekeeping staff took medication from our room. Even after asking housekeeping not to come back, they still tried to enter the room. Bed did not have a bedskirt and towels were dingy.

The quality of the room was less than expected, especially for the price. The mattress was lumpy. The room looked like it needed remodeling. The bathroom shower had mold in the corner. The twenty four hour restaurant was extremely overpriced for the quality of the food they served. It was closed quite early on one of the nights. The monorail was quite convenient.

I am not likely to return to the Hilton Las Vegas.
I would not recommend it to friends.
