50 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

The room was nice and the buffet one of the best for the price . I liked the sports book area although congested it was easy to watch the games and make a wide variety of bets , parlays ,etc. The Location off the strip is very isolated and you have to drive or ride the monorail ($9 Round Trip) to go anywhere else. There is no large pool area or pool bar , etc that make it more social . I would been bored if I stayed for more than one day. People there spoke highly of the Star Trek Attraction , and they have awesome shows ( I didn't go to any this stay) so if you plan to do these things you will be happier.

I also stayed at the Golden Nugget on this stay and although my wife liked the Hilton more , I love the downtown area and the Golden Nugget is the best (also 4 star rated) place downtown.

48 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

I arrived Thursday night and they cancelled one of our rooms, so we had to double up, then as I am a smoker they put me in a non-smoking room, not a big deal you say but it's a ride on the over crowded elevator to the crowded slot floor to smoke, sigh. But okay as has been written by other no coffee machine room and if you are an early riser you'll pay for it if you want coffee from one of the coffee stands! At 7 AM the Seattle Coffee opens their coffee is (S) 2.50 (M) 3.00 and (L) 3.50 which is cheap as they clipped me for (M) 5.00 at their little restaurant. No real room amenities beyond a flat screen (they really want you on on the slots) and what a laugh they are penny slots with the only (slim chance) at wining playing 20 cents per play I watched person after person win, and lose at the same time you see the play offs are less than what you wager! Yes the bartenders don't seem to want to bothered with you and the general staff much the same, the entire hotel seems designed for one thing (getting all your money they can get!) yes, you are off the strip so it's monorail, cab or on foot (and Vegas does get HOT). I have stayed at the Hilton years ago it was customer orientated with lots of extras and literature availabgle for other scenic tours and stops but it's a real shakedown now, it's really sad.

member icon BAD, BAD, BAD location! Strip is too far

35 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

At check-in, we were not even offered help to our room and we were the only ones at the front desk. They want $ for every little thing! 3 for a safe fee. The plumbing was terrible(toilet and sink backed-up). $8 for a pack of cigarettes. There was no where to eat without paying too much! No coffee machines in the room and $10 a day to rent- give me a break! While playing slots, the waitresses never came around! This place will suck every dollar out of you and leaving you feeling like a cheap (you know what) except you feel as if you didn't even get anything out of it! No good restaurants. They even put us on the 13 th floor.... go figure!

35 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an item go missing from my room. I immediately reported it to hotel security who reassured me that the item would be reimbursed and that a police report wasn't required. I followed up numerous times without a reply until finally I was told that the claim was denied because the hotel cleaning staff didn't have any history of this.

Does this mean every Las Vegas Hilton employee gets a first time freebie???!??!

**DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU LOCK UP YOUR VALUABLES**

Maxxy icon I Enjoyed My 5-Day Stay at the Hilton LV

2008 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for business

I had a 5-day stay at the Las Vegas Hilton. On arrival, there were plumbing issues in my room, so they gave me an upgrade for my entire stay, all complimentary. The room was wonderful, nice view of the country club/golf course and service was prompt and efficient. I have photos to show how lovely the room was. I ate at the Paradise Cafe for breakfast one morning. I loved it. Food was fresh, delicious with excellent service. My only concern was at checkout, the automatic TV checkout was down, so I had to get in line to checkout. Otherwise, that was my only concern.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Hilton Las Vegas.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
