Hilton Knoxville Airport Hotel

Having been a member of the Hilton Honors program for years, plus having stayed here in the past, I had found this property to be friendly and convenient to the Knoxville airport.

My 7 year old son and I went there in February, 2007 for a weekend getaway, but the fun weekend turned into a nightmare. The hotel was undergoing a carpeting project and within a few hours of our first day there I found myself being threatened abused by the very employees that work for the same company that owns the hotel. We were verbally abused by the employees, threatened with bodily harm and to this day I have never heard a word back from either the hotel or the Cooper Companies about this incident.

We are so upset about the entire incident, primarily because it involved Hilton employees, that I have made a decision to avoid all Hiltons at all costs. Marriott, here I come!

I disliked the charging for the use of the business center.

This is a quality hotel with good facilities and a good location for air travelers. The meeting facilities were also good. The wireless internet connection functioned well.

I liked the convenience to the airport.

This hotel made me feel welcome: They had a shuttle to the airport and provided me with parking till my return. All my questions answered promptly.

This particular Hilton hotel had the nicest bar I have been to. The bartender was friendly and was able to give us a lot of information about the area.
