I was kind of shocked to find out that I was overcharged at the bar. So I brought it up to the manager at the front desk (or supervisor), and he told me they will take care of the problem. 1 month has passed, and they are only fixing the issue now! wow, "great" customer service.

The hotel is fairly easy to find. The front desk staff is friendly and checkin was very quick. My room on the 11th floor (HHonors) was clean, bed was very comfortable, A/C was turned all the way down (I forgot to turn it up and almost froze overnight), the view is spectacular. It's a LONG walk from the front desk to the elevators to the towers. The HHonors concierce breakfast is continental and heavy on items with too much sugar. I complained and got free breakfast at the restaurant. The TV needs updating but works, selection of channels is below-average for my taste. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, get a room in as high a floor as you can get. The taxis unfortunately take up the main driveway sometimes and they need to be told to stick to their staging areas. LOTS of restaurants near the hotel, all kinds of food. The pool is nice but this is not a hotel for families with children, which is fine by me. The staff did a very good job.

I was pleasantly surprised with both the hotel and the staff. The staff were extremely service oriented and attentive to any request. When I asked about a great place to eat, the staff suggested the hotel restaurant; I was skeptical to say the least, but I was honestly "Blown Away", as it was not a typical hotel restaurant experience. The name of the restaurant is Rio Ranch, and I will stay at the hotel again, just to eat at the restaurant. The steak I had was reasonably priced when compared to high end steak houses, I didn't feel ripped off by having to order side dishes a-la-carte, like at Ruth's, or Vic and Anthony's, etc.......and the steak was perhaps the BEST I have ever had.
