Located on Waikiki's widest stretch of beach, the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa is nestled on 22 oceanfront acres offering the perfect mix of exceptional hotel accommodations and classic Hawaiian hospitality. This is Waikiki's biggest resort. You'll find tropical gardens dotted with exotic wildlife (even tropical penguins), award-winning restaurants, 100 different shops, a secluded lagoon and two minigolf courses. This is a great place to stay with the kids. There's a wide choice of accommodations and all rooms are large and beautifully furnished. Despite the hotel's mega-Vegas-size, this division into towers, each with its own restaurants and shopping, cuts down on the chaotic, impersonal feeling you can get from a resort this size. Still, this is the place for a lively, activity-packed vacation; those seeking a more intimate experience might want to look elsewhere.

The hotel property is too large for a single valet parking spot. The restaurant staff was inattentive and surly. The pools were over-crowded and seating was very limited.

This recently renovated property is a city in itself. My room was spacious and overlooked the beach and Diamondhead. I enjoyed a complimentary Mai Tai in my room and headed down to the beach, with free towel service. This is a bustling property that is non-stop. I visited the spa for relaxation and did shopping in the shops area. The artwork on-site is fantastic, as well as the award winning restaurants. It's easy to see why this hotel was a favorite of Elvis' back in the day.

Okay
Hilton Hawaiian Village had four high-rise towers in one complex, many stores and restaurants, and even a reproduction of a Japanese village. The restaurants range from casual to very elegant, but I never ate at any of the more expensive...

We loved our stay - the whole trip would not have been the same without this hotel - I just hope we can afford to go back again - it was gorgeous - the view was superb!
The overall atmoshpere of the Hilton was exactly what you dream of when you think of vacations. The village setting with all the different restaurants, shops, exhibits, landscaping with animals and clubs sometimes made it difficult to want to leave ...
