Hilton Grand Vacation Club Hotel

We sat through the sales pitch and gave in to the pitch. After a night of thought, we opted to negate the deal. We wrote a letter stating that we were using our option to decline the offer and hand delivered the letter to the sales office. Upon our return home, we had calls from the sales department acknowledging the fact that we canceled the contract. This was done in early March, now on March 28th; we received our credit card statement with the down payment cost (the one that they say will be held for 10 days) with a number to call if there are any questions. When the number is called, the number is no longer in service. What kind of scam is this?

The property is kept impecable desite the apparent high growth rate of the area and property usage. Parking was the biggest complaint as after 6pm all bets are off on getting a parking spot near your building (the one you've paid hansomely for) The events for children are well planned and we'll return. The downside to this type package is the hard sale manner inwhich your initially put through as they scramble to sell future & current member slots and the cost of investment.

As a vacation.... The up front cost is a rough buy. We were offered comparable too much lower rates through Expedia (with flights) and Hotels.com. So the bottom line becomes do you always want to be with Hilton or would you like the great American adventure- chance- risk and better location to your planned event. As an Investment is a perpetual membership and can be willed to your heirs with some exceptions. But at 4% simple interest on the same initial investmet you would have 1.5K to 1.9 K to go wherever you want each year and not be locked into X number of properties, min stays, high cost property food/beverage costs. We rate a four because we averaged $194 a night and found better deals in the same area with comparable immentities and no Lock down.

Hilton We love you but.....

This is a great hotel. we had two bedrooms and two bathrooms suite, It was very clean, beautiful and relaxing. The food at the pool bar was excellent, three tvs, 2 dvd players. Wonderful!

I was there 20 years ago and I found it lovely and I want to go back there with my husband and daughters.

Loved the decor and ambiance of the resort. The grounds are well kept, the staff extremely friendly and helpful; overall a great place to stay!!!
