member icon Great hotel, great location

61 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

Had a great weeks stay at the Hilton Garden Inn - Times Square. The location is just great - in the heart of the theatre district and only 1 block away from Times Square. The staff are extremely informative and if they can't answer a question they will find out and let you know asap. The rooms are quiet and quite large - there is a microwave and fridge - but there are so many restaurants nearby you really don't need them. Buy your 3 day 'hop on' hop off' bus pass (Grey Line) through Avator - the office and bus stops are just down the street. Buy your discount theatre tickets from txts office near pier 17 - much cheaper and less queues than the one in Times Square.

62 year old woman with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

My husband and I stayed at this hotel to meet up with my daughter who is a student in upstate New York. The location was extremely convenient, the hotel was clean and up to date. There was security at night. There was fast internet in the business room. The entrance staff and the room staff were excellent. We stayed in a room on 8th Avenue and that was just fine. We had no sound problems. Actually, it was great to be in the hustle and bustle of the city.

I would go back to this hotel again. Great.

We stayed with our two teenagers in July 2007. Hotel was great. Very clean with nice size rooms and nice amenities. Breakfast room was a good size and had a nice variety. Intend to return again this summer and stay there.

35 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for business

When I stayed in late July 2007, there was renovation work going on leaving some of the public areas of the hotel looking very shabby. My first problem with the room was that the shower did not work. This was fixed promptly. On my second day I woke up to find a big cockroach in the room - very unpleasant! I pulled out the bed to check for any more and found a mousetrap baited with cheese. By this time I really couldn't believe what I was seeing. The hotel manager refunded half the cost of my final night. I won't be going back.
