I was so glad to find this hotel. Seriously, this is an extremely nice place to stay. All of the staff are friendly, professional and hospitable. I had a beautiful room and I'm very picky about where I stay. I won't go anywhere else when I come to Savannah!

We drove 5 hours from Atlanta with internet reservations confirmation in hand, only to discover the hotel was full and nothing was to be done about it. The clerk at the desk called a few hotels in the area but did not offer to give the same rate as confirmed on the internet. Their sister hotel Double Tree had 5 smoking rooms available at triple the price. I would not stay in a smoke scented room for free. When I asked what could be done, she suggested I contact Hotel Plus Portal from the internet. I called internet reservations and spoke with someone else who took my cell number and never called back. This hotel apparently does not care if you make internet reservations. They can simply blame your troubles on the internet. I asked to speak to a manager but none appeared. We drove 5 hours back home to stay in our own bed. I thought Hilton properties had a better reputation. I guess not!
There's a lot of construction going on just down the road, but if you need a clean, bright, semi-fancy place to stay in Savannah near the airport, this is the place. We were there for a conference, and had no complaints at all.
