Overall my experience was good. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially when I asked for a change of room to one with a great view. ASK FOR A ROOM WITH AN OUTSIDE VIEW. The windowless dining area is a bit unusual for HGI as is the lobby on ...

Good
First trip to NO and loved our room. Great location, could walk to everything or hope on the trolley. Room was clean, great bed and quiet. Parking sucks and is expensive.
55 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
I had a nice large room with great setup for fridge, coffee maker and microwave oven. Good location, easy to get to Riverwalk and casino. Bourbon Street is very close, but not a problem.
The staff was very helpful and friendly including valet parking attendants. They have covered parking. I had a good sized bathroom, housekeeping left more towels when requested. I didn't try the restaurant.
I will definitely stay there again. Not all elevators were working so it was sometimes slow, but that was a small problem.
My boss Always stays here for Business Meetings due to EXCELLENT Location in CBD of NO, Great Breakfast at Great Rate, Service, courteous staff, cleanliness.

Good luck - that's what you'll need to have a nice stay. No service available, because there isn't anyone who works here. There are some people who stand around, but don't expect them to be of service.
