Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee Park Place Hotel - Page 1

What bothered us the most was the lack of concern for the health and safety of the patrons. My daughter's friend was badly cut on a piece of glass in the pool. We were told they would be draining the pool and cleaning the area. I cleaned most of the blood up, but the pool was never closed and the following morning the blood was still in the pool area and the bathroom. Our buffet was less than stocked and we were told it was open certain hours. When we came down, it had already closed and all our prepaid meal was lost. In addition we ordered room service and we were told we could not get it because there was no one to bring it. We made arrangements to go down at certain time to get it and it still was not done, so then they did have someone bring it to our room over an hour late and it was burnt outside but raw inside. Our room temperature was sixty two degrees and there was no one to fix it. When they did send someone it still never got fixed. The staff was substandard and we had other smaller problems as well. All we asked for was an additional stay at a different Hilton hotel and we were not offered one, we were told they would look into it, but we never heard back. Just the beds were so comfortable.

The location was fairly convenient to downtown. The staff was very helpful and friendly and they even let us check in early so we could get ready for the wedding we were going to.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The receptionist was very helpful, friendly and accommodating.

Nothing in particular stands out in my mind about this hotel.

My stay at this hotel was fine.
