57 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
We also stayed at HGVC on the Los Angeles Strip and were very disappointed. Thankfully we also chose HGI to stay at for most of our stay. We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations and services.

The room was fantastic as was the staff. It gave us some place to stay other than with my parents.

The staff at the desk was unwilling to correct an error made by them in checking in our group from the same company on the same company credit card that was given on the reservation. It was very difficult to have them change it, two phone calls and one fax and forty-five minutes of waiting was needed to convince the clerk. The ability to charge to the room when dining at the Grand Hilton turned out to be a lengthy affair. I ended up having to forfeit the receipt to be able to get out of there and on my way to a meeting. The Italian restaurant did not accept the charge card without first having to call the front desk of the Hilton Garden and verify that the charge was accepted. This makes the charge card pointless. The room was nice but the bed was horrible! If hotels want satisfied guests a choice of mattress hardness must be available. Some people cannot sleep on hard mattresses because of back injuries. I had the worst nights sleep in a very long time.

27 year old male with a economy budget, traveling for leisure
A friend and I needed a hotel to stay in for one night. We had slept in the car the first night since all the hotels were booked. This hotel was the only one with an opening the next day and we were treated well!

The hotel is just outside of a busy area. There's no casino, it's a good place for kids.

The hotel was as expected, excellent. That is why we own a time share with the company.

Our car was broken into in the hotel's 'well lit', security patrolled, 4 story parking garage. The 'security' staff would not call the police or let us call the police - they said that they are private property and the police are not allowed on premises. They did NO investigation even though they supposedly have security cameras on the entrance/exit. There was no help from anyone at the hotel. Management never contacted us - the only thing this hotel is worried about is their 'legal' department. NEVER STAY HERE - especially if you are displaying at a convention.

My bathroom power outlets did not work; the hotel had been open only 21 days. The staff responded quickly and fixed the problem. Very, very nice hotel staff.
This hotel made me feel relaxed: Quiet atmosphere; rooms well insulated from hall noise.
