Hilton Garden Inn Courthouse Plaza Hotel - Page 2

The location of the hotel is perfect for me to walk to my vendor location which is two blocks up on Courthouse. I hate to drive in DC, so am able to walk directly across the street to the metro station if I want to go into the city or can just walk to literally anywhere in that area of Arlington if needed. I made a special request to check in early since my flight arrived in the early afternoon and they were very accommodating and friendly. Everything was primarily positive, but the bed was extremely uncomfortable.

This hotel made me feel secure: As a single woman, any travel to large cities can be daunting when traveling alone. Washington DC is especially scary for me and Arlington is merely an extension of DC. The lighting was more than adequate in the evenings and it just felt like there was enough staff there that there was safety in numbers. It seemed that they were paying attention and would have noticed if anything was amiss.

The price and the location are perfect. The rooms are very comfortable.

I enjoyed the centralized location of this hotel. I wasn't sure how close I would be to my destination from the description, but it provided very easy access to Washington DC. The room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. My only dislike was the small parking garage. It was difficult for us to park our van in because the spaces were so small.

This hotel made me feel respected: As a member of Hilton rewards, the staff recognized my membership without me having to tell them. I received complimentary bottles of water upon arrival.

The hotel has great location and service overall. I would recommend it and I would stay there again!

This hotel made me feel comfortable: The housekeeping employees went out of their way to provide extra pillows and towels.

There were two disappointments with my stay; the high-speed internet was terribly slow despite attempts at various points in the day, and the noise from the proximity to the elevator was bothersome.

It's a great value. You are steps from the metro and minutes from downtown D.C. and yet you get free parking, big clean rooms, and lots of amenities you couldn't get for the same price downtown.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The Hilton Garden Inn is so convenient that it made me realize that I could get to where I needed to be when I needed to be there without stressing about time or location.

This is a convenient location with discounted breakfast for HHonors members. It also has adequate parking.

The room was not as clean as expected.

We were displeased with the service and treatment in the hotel restaurant. Servers completely ignored us, while attending to other customers who arrived after we did. We had to beg for coffee refills and we were never asked if everything was okay or if we needed anything.
