Hilton Garden Inn Austin Downtown Hotel

It is a good hotel in a good location, but it needs to be upgraded. The toilet seat was in horrible shape with the coating missing in many spots. For a hotel that charges over one hundred dollars per night, they can afford to spend ten dollars on a new toilet seat.

I enjoyed the hotel, the stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. My only complaint was minor. It was the length of time it took for the room service to bring me my order. It was longer than I would have expected but not unreasonable.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The efficient check in and check out made it easier to just get in my room and relax.

It was the perfect location from where I was coming. The building was in the middle of remodeling. I originally booked a non smoking room with handicap access. During check in they switched the handicap access and when arriving on the floor, it smelt like smoke.

The hotel was very well run. The rooms were in excellent shape and the staff was courteous and friendly.

This hotel made me feel respected: They treated me as a valued guest.

The hotel is within walking distance to sixth street entertainment district. It has a very good location.
