I am a Hilton Honors gold member and travel often. This is far and away the best hotel in the Ames and Des Moines area as well as one of the best in the nation. The hotel opened in 2009, has large clean rooms, a GREAT fitness center, and wonderful restaurant. I have been so impressed by the staff I will not stay anywhere else when it town (even Des Moines - it's worth the drive)! My wife and kids love the hotel as well. It is very near ISU and next door to Perfect Games amusement center. Great, great hotel!
