It is a good hotel if you are in town for a convention. Otherwise it is a long ways from the beach and other fun stuff.
Rooms are nice, but small. They book you into the base room and then try to get you to upgrade to the tower room. I saw both and they are pretty much the same. My view was better from the standard room (overlooked the waterway). They were clean and well maintained. HVAC was only so so...it never cooled as much as I wanted. Televisions were flat screen and very nice.
The worst part was services available. There was a small lobby bar, pool bar, and gourmet restaurant. There was no coffee shop or gift shop on site. No mini-bar. So much for wanting a late night snack. That meant a taxi ride somewhere else. They also charge for internet.
I am not likely
to return to the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina.
I might recommend it to friends.

The hotel was very nice and modern. I planned this trip 2 months in advance. I was very unsatisfied with the bad communication of the description of what the room was like. When i booked early in january before this spring there were no pictures of the rooms so i had to go by what the staff described to me. I was told the rooms had a divider from the master bed and the livving space in the junior tower suite. When we arrived there was no divider and I was on a much lower level then requested. It took me 3 days of arging to finally get the room next door as well.

From the 10th floor the views are spectacular. Beautiful room and nice upgrades have been made. Great location - central to the best parts of Ft. Lauderdale. Will stay here again!

The renovations in one section limited space and function. The restaurant was closed. But the rate was very affordable and the staff was very friendly.
They allowed me to move to other, improved room at no additional cost.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina.
I might recommend it to friends.

The restaurants were not up to Marriott standards. The parking was very expensive. The outside lighting or markings was inadequate. The glass sliding door was extremely difficult to operate. There were several troublesome employees.
I am very likely
to return to the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
