This was the worst hotel I have stayed in for years. There was extensive construction being done, the rooms were dirty, the carpets and curtains stained, and the area was very noisy.
The air conditioner was faulty and at least 30 years old. The "heated" outdoor pool was as cold as ice. There was even a dead lizard in the window!
Our view was of a boat junkyard and a freeway. Stay well away from this slum (at $210 per day). Date of my stay was on 12/28/06.

I don't think that it is the most comfortable hotel as far as aesthetics and relaxation are concerned. The lobby is very uncomfortable. I also stayed at the Wyndham in Houston near the airport and as interesting as the hotel is in its design, it was

The location was perfect, but the hotel lacked standard services such as valet and express check in/checkout. There was a hole in the wall. The security of the facility was a concern to me. The bellhop did not respond to requests.
