For a premium location, the staff needs to work on providing a premium experience. While checking-in, the front desk manager took three phone calls asking me to wait each time. I'll inquire about phone check-in next time since it appears callers get priority service over those actually at the desk.
The rooms are well appointed, but, in my opinion, a bit stale. It looks like they are undertaking a refreshing in the next year. I personally don't care for the style of the interiors, but it is well done.
The club level lounge is nice and comfortable. I was a bit surprised at being charged for cocktails, especially typical hotel prices.
My final complaint was the housekeeping staff. My room and bath were well cleaned and organized, however at 7 am members of the house keeping staff were talking and laughing outside my room before starting their morning assignments. After being awakened, I was less than polite in asking them to be quiet, rightfully so.
