Hilton College Station Conference Center Hotel

I have stayed at several different hotels in College Station over the past 5 years and this was the WORST experience. We had never stayed at this Hilton, but had the opportunity to stay at a great discount courtesy of a Hilton employee friend of the family. We thought it would be a good chance to try it out. We entered our room and were immediately hit in the face with the stench of a sewage/water treatment plant. They obviously knew this room - #920 - had a problem, because there were 2 room deodorizers inside of the air conditioner - they didn't smell good either. We didn't ask for another room, hoping the smell would dissipate, plus the fact we were getting a discount, we didn't want to be bothersome. The smell never got better, was worse in the bathroom and the closet and was awful in the morning. When we checked out, my husband told the desk clerk how bad it smelled and she just shrugged and said "sorry." Also, this room did NOT have a hair dryer. Even the lowly Howard Johnson hotel in town has hair dryers! I would steer anyone I know AWAY from this hotel. And they have the gall to charge $240/night during football weekends and other big event weekends!!! It wasn't even worth the $56 we paid. There are a lot better, newer, cheaper hotels in College Station and I would recommend ANY of them over this particular Hilton.

It was the worst hotel service ever.

The bed was extremely comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. The check-in was very smooth and the free internet access in the rooms was greatly appreciated.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The rooms were not overly decorated. All of the furniture was very comfortable and inviting. The room's colors and the bathroom colors were very inviting.

I was unexpectedly upgraded to a junior suite. I was very pleased and I enjoyed my stay wonderfully.

Our stay was nice.
