Checkers is my favorite hotel in Los Angeles. The location is great, it's right in the downtown area. This hotel is a very small boutique hotel with an exclusive, European feel. The hotel's restaurant is fabulous (try the homemade granola for breakfast), and the rooftop pool has great views of the city. The rooms are a little small, but they are very comfortable. You can usually find great deals at this hotel on weekends since it caters to business travelers during the week. The service at this hotel is unbeatable.

I liked the location of the hotel. It was located right by Universal Studios. I also liked the size of the room and the friendliness of the staff. I also enjoyed that they had a shuttle that took you to and from the mall.
This hotel made me feel comfortable: The room was very comfortable. It had a lot of furniture.

It is a very comfortable hotel. The location is reasonable. I was surprised that there was no gift shop or place to buy snacks. They have a great pool on the top floor. It offers a good view and atmosphere!
This hotel made me feel relaxed: The ambience and lighting in the room was very soothing. Having the MP3 player hookup to the room stereo is nice. My corner room was very comfortable and offered reasonable views. They had comfortable bedding and work spaces.

The Hilton Los Angeles was sensational. Very pleasant staff. Excellent customer service. Variety of fun relaxing activities such as the spa. It was fabulous. I am very satisfied.

The hotel was conveniently located to my conference and public transportation. The bar was dirty and unkempt. But the hotel has beautifully appointed rooms.
This hotel made me feel comfortable: The general decor was warm and inviting, and the rooms were lovely. They have very comfortable bedding.
