59 year old with a moderate budget, traveling for business

First of all when I set the reservation I was told there would be a table with chairs separated by glass framed doors from the bedroom portion of the $200.00 + per night exective boardroom style suite I needed for my meeting. When I arrived there was no table and no chairs just a coffee table with occasional chairs in a poorly lit room with no window. Due to time constraints I made this space work but I was appauled by the crumpled condition of the lamp shades and their missing finnials. A musty smell hung in the air as the room had not been constantly air conditioning for a few days or more. I was really irritated to find the front entrance of the hotel congested by VALET only services with not one place to easily park my car to check in and having to leave my key for some unknow attendant to move just in case it was in the way. Then I tried to use the luggage stand to move my things in to the room and found it was NOT AVAILABLE for guests who did not use valet or bellboy services - good grief! Then I called room service and this took forever - after 30 minutes and after my guests had already arrived for lunch someone called to take our order and it was another 30 minutes before anything arrived. It was not a refelction on me, it was a reflection on HILTON! The best thing was the food and it was fabulous once delivered! But, for a hotel set up to SERVE it sure took a long time to get served and there were a lot of unnecesary hurdles to get around - like trying to get tnto Fort Knox. Is every Hilton this much trouble? When was the last time whoever established these hurdles did any traveling? If they had to check into this hotel they would look elsewhere next time. I don't think I am difficult I enjoy service and think service should be an option not a given or expected! Even the best hotels and worst of hotels allows their guests to choose, but not the Austin Hilton Airport. So convenient and a agreat building why does it have to be such a problem to navigate there?
