Hilton Akron Fairlawn Hotel

The staff was excellent. The room decor was excellent.

This hotel made me feel secure: We had a room at the end of a hall. Also, there was a lock on the inside of the door to prevent entry from the outside.

It was a nice hotel, with large rooms and a good location.

This hotel made me feel excited: It was nice to get away and feel like the hotel wanted me to be there. They were quite friendly and helpful.

I liked the hotel, but I think that they should have wireless internet access and water available in the gym instead of having to purchase it. Also, I left my phone charger in the room and they told me it would cost twenty dollars to mail back, which seems really high and almost as much as it would be just to buy a new one. It seems like something they could do cheaper or as a courtesy to their guests. Just mail it back through the mail, I bet it would cost two dollars at the most.

The service was good. The food was excellent. The staff was efficient.

This is an odd hotel. My view was of rooftop machinery. They had filthy furniture, broken a/c, moldy tub drain, you get the idea. I actually complained to Hilton when I got home.
