I recently stayed here on business. The clerk at check in seemed arrogant. He gave me my key (not a card, a metal key), as he walked away, I asked where my room was. His response as "Door 4" As he walked away agin, I asked where "Door 4" was. he said outside. I asked where outside. He pointed to the left side of the building. I located door 4 and immediatley noticed that is was completely unlocked. There was a hole in the door where the lock cylinder should have been. I entered the building and was confronted by an overwhelming chemical/medicinal odor. The odor was also present in the room, but not as strong.
In the room, I noticed that there is no chain or other mechanical lock on the door, only the lock switch on the door. Out of curiousity, I tested this lock by openning the door, and setting this lock. It openned using the key so the rooms are completely open to anyone with a copy of the key. I also noticed that the place was FILTHY. The toiliet is white porcelain, and the bowl looked brown and dingy as if it had not been cleaned in months. The soap and shampoo is supplied in a dispenser on the wall in the shower. The top of the dispenser was ajar and loose. The shampoo was an strange shade of brownish yellow.
I would have left immediately, but I was late getting to my job site so I dropped my luggage there, and went to work. I was very late returning, and decided just to stay for the night. I will never go back there again, and can not recomend it at all. The place is very insecure, with open unlocked exterior doors, minimal locks on the room doors. It smells as if they are hiding bodies there, and is dirty too.
