48 year old with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
Stayed here for Mom's weekend with my two small dogs. I found room large and clean-though this is an older motel it was well worth the cost. If you are not picky then save a few $.
I stayed at the Hillcrest Motel for a few weeks between leases. Its fairly clean and quiet and didn't really have problems with it for most of my stay. However, one day one of the maids (Inca, the blonde one) who lives and works at the motel was arrested, along with her boyfriend, for dealing drugs out of the motel. She made bail and was back the next day cleaning rooms. Don't know why she wasn't fired and evicted.

We came to Moscow for UI graduation and the only room available was a smoking room but we didn't smell any smoke at all. The room, including bathroom, was very clean, spacious, but dated. Cleanliness is the most important factor to me so I liked ...
This is a nice, friendly motel. I found it clean and afordible. Close to downtown Moscow and supermarket. Will stay there again for the 08 football season.

35 year old female with a economy budget, traveling for business
The first room I was in was clean with a comfortable bed and nice space. I was very happy to find such good accommodation. Unfortunately the neighbor upstairs was very loud, stomping and pacing around all night, without a break, into the morning. Sometimes it sounded as though he was doing the plumbing with a sledge hammer at 5:30 am. Apparently, he is a full time resident, so he has full stomping privileges.
After complaining about getting no sleep, the folks at the front desk were good enough to move me to a new room. Unfortunately, the second room was not clean and the bed was not comfortable. It smelled stale and musty, and there was pee on the toilet seat and floor around the toilet. I wondered if the room had not been cleaned, or if perhaps the stomper had come and peed around in retribution for my complaint. Either way, it was creepy.
After four days at this motel, I was exhausted and ready to leave. It's too bad they didn't put the resident stomper in the musty, dirty old room. If it weren't for that it would be easy to say what a nice, clean comfortable place to stay, quaint with older decor...friendly people. Could have been very enjoyable and relaxing. Instead I just felt increasingly creeped out throughout my stay.
I have stayed here while visiting my son at Washington State University, 15 to 20 min. from campus. Clean and quiet, $65.00 per night for Fathers Weekend. Very nice continental breakfast, friendly and located on the edge of town with markets 2...
If your looking for a fancy place to stay...well maybe you should keep looking. But if its a well rounded, affordable, friendly, mom and pop operation your looking for there isn't anything comparable in the area to the Hillcrest. My room was...
This is a small, family-run motel - at least when we were there. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and made sure our stay was enjoyable. Although the decor is dated, the room (including the bathroom) was exceptionally clean. Juice, hard-boiled eggs, ...
