When you take a quick overlook of this motel, things seem fine. The exterior conveys budget quality and the rooms are large with fridge and microwave. Not to forget the in-room internet connection.
However, there were holes in our couch, one covered with some stiff goo, there was an ant farm in our bathtub and the usual cigarette burns next to the toilet. The microwave had to be opened manually and the rotating plate inside was gone. The curtains could not be fully drawn... well, you get the point.
As for the outside, the staircase is icky, which may cause a problem to bacteria-fobes as you drag the dirt directly into the rooms.
The internet connection had low strength and the connection would work optimally only to slow down to the annoying (happened on two PC's - not just my laptop messing up).
I have some experience with motels as we road trip several weeks every year, and though this hotel is by far not the worst I have been to, it certainly is overpriced for what you get - 67$ for two persons on a Sunday.
Other than that, the check-in was friendly and though I did not try it out, the pool seemed OK. Some people were having fun there when we arrived.
