This hotel was much more affordable than ANY other in Rehoboth and worth the money. It was very family oriented, okay cont. breakfast, and nice people in the hotel. Loved the location too. The only issue I had was things could have been a bit cleaner in the bathroom, I don't like other peoples hair in the bathtub. I did not complain but it was cleaned the next night. I would stay there again.

This is the fourth or fifth time we have stayed at the Heritage Inn and Golf Club. I am not into golfing but love the hotel. It is reasonably priced, nice breakfast, close to many attractions in the area and clean, neatly decorated rooms. They take AAA. I plan on coming back for many years.

This hotel is insane! Me my dad and brother were staying an extra night in Rehoboth. The rates at other hotels were a little high, so we stopped at the Heritage Inn. BIG MISTAKE! They refused us service because my brother was 'afiliated' with the Sports at the Beach. We spoke to the manager - who was very unprofessional - and he told us it was in their policy that no baseball teams could stay there. Well, my family was trying to get away from the team so we weren't avicted. We we're practically kicked out before we got in the door!
Luckily, we found the Holiday Inn Express up the street. They were ACTUALLY FRIENDLY and we're shocked when we told them what had happened.

This hotel had the worst customer service I have ever encountered in my entire traveling experience. If you happen to meet the guy at the front desk upon arrival - RUN - I repeat - RUN the other way. He is the most unprofessional and one of the rudest individuals I have ever met. He actually told my husband that it didn't matter if we weren't satisfied since we were from another state and would never be back anyway!!
And good luck ever speaking to a manager. We were there a week and repeatedly asked to speak to a manager and never heard from him. When we asked to speak to another one we were told there is only one!!! I doubt that is the case - and he was NEVER there....we tried repeatedly to catch him actually AT the hotel - to no avail!
And don't even get me started on the restaurant - just suffice it to say that if you enter with more than a group of five or six you can plan on staying several hours!
Please do youself a favor and try EVERY OTHER hotel around before booking here - and if there are no rooms available travel with a popup!

I booked this hotel for my wedding guest the weekend of May 20, 2006. This hotel is not part of a chain which has mostly pros in my view - but you can't collect points. The rooms are great, they have a variety of types the smallest room having two queens - there are no king rooms. The rooms are all decorated with different themes of americana and have names, mostly US states which provided entertainment for our guests - "We are going to Texas tonight." The hotel is very clean, the staff is courteous and helpful, the pool is great too. The location is fantastic, this hotel works well for families staying at the beach - right next door to a superfresh grocery store and only a 10 minute drive to downtown Rehoboth. The only drawback was that steak house restaurant and bar closed at midnight - we had requested it be open for our guests after the reception but there was some miscommunication between the manager and staff. This hotel also had great rates and for its level of service was lower than most of the other hotels in the area. My husband and I stayed in one of the suites - they all have balconies and kitchens. Addtionally - all the smoking rooms have balconies - they require you to sign an agreement stating you will pay $150 if you smoke in the room - this is a great policy for non-smokers. You don't get that stale cigarette smoke in room.
