We chose the Heritage after web searching, then speaking with the staff about our dates and needs. Immediately felt our business was important, and that's how it was right through the event. There were 22 of us in June, and everyone--even the kids--told me it was one of the best-ever. Some are frequent travelers, so I knew I had picked a winner. The Heritage setting and accommodations, as well as the dining, all the activities and the staff--it all came together. If my cousins weren't raving about the housekeeping, they were talking about the Front Desk, or the golf staff. Same for the spa--the women (and 2 guys) felt so looked after. We made a lot of family-noise, but special corners were opened for us so we could enjoy our time together, and once it was after 10:30 at night! Kids wanted to stay in the outside pool much of the time, then the indoor pool till that closed--and the kitchen made sure they had kid-stuff at all meals, so they all bonded and left the parents to fend for themselves. I brought my little dog, had a great room in a special area and we took great country walks. The gorgeous weather helped, and the drive from all over NY, NJ, CT was nothing! And beautiful nothing--green and easy. A few of us hope to go back for a getaway this spring.
