The Helmsley Sandcastle in Sarasota, Fla. is located one mile from St. Armand's Circle, an upscale entertainment, shopping and dining venue. The Sandcastle Coffee Shop can serve breakfast and lunch poolside while snacks and cocktails are offered at the Sandcastle Pool Bar. Candlelight Restaurant and Lounge features casual nightly dining. Business needs are accommodated with more than 2,000 square feet of meeting space and high-speed Internet access for a fee. The hotel boasts a private white-sand beach. Two outdoor pools fill in the hotel courtyard, along with lounge chairs and a sundeck. A fitness center, bicycle rentals and video-game area are additional recreational alternatives. 29 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
Our family fell in love with this affordable resort! We loved that our room was only a few from beautiful Lido beach which made the trip so much more relaxing. The beach side pools were a wonderful addition to the beach. The hotel room and some of the exterior was "dated" but the staff keep it very clean. We also all noted that the staff were very friendly! We will definitely return!!!
