This place has very clean rooms. I recommend the honeymoon suit as it has a large jacquzzi and very spacious room. The staff is very friendly. I highly recommend the hotel.. It also has another hotel located in the downtown area.

The rooms were large, but they had a funky smell. The furniture looked dirty. The bed was clean. No closet in room. The pool was very small and cloudy, didn't even use it. I would not stay here again.

My wife and I put bus tours together. Labor Day weekend 2005 we stayed at Dubuque West. One of five different Heartland Inns we stayed at. Heartland Inns on their on put together a game for our group, then gave out prizes at the last motel. ...
This hotel just needs little details to be fixed and improved now. If it's not improved shortly this will be a dump in about 2 years. The beds were very comfortable though. And the breakfast was good and a variety of choices were offered.
Fast, friendly check-in. Spacious rooms, expecially the deluxe. Very well decorated, clean. Wireless internet worked fine. Good breakfast & snacks. Pool very small and no hot tub however.
