The Hawthorn Suites Sacramento was an excellent stay with a HUGE ROOM, good price, VERY CLOSE to Downtown Sac and Old Sacramento. 2 bedroom queen suite with large living room and full kitchen for $99/night. We stayed they as we were going to the CA State Fair and Old Sacramento Gold Rush Days. They offered 2 adult State Fair Tickets (a $24 value) and buffet breakfast for all 4 of us (2 adults, 2 kids) INCLUDED in the $99 rate. The room comfort was excellent with 3 separate a/c/heating units, one in each bedroom and one for the main living room/kitchen area. The room was clean in all aspects. There was a hide-a-way bed in the living area that could have easily and comfortably slept 2 more people for a total of 6 people in this room with room to spare. The kids loved it. The buffet breakfast was mediocre with limited choices, but okay.
The Sacramento Hawthorn Suites was a great place to stay. My hotel room was equipped with a full kitchen and free Wifi. The rooms were very clean, and the front desk was very helpful in providing information about the city, and where to pick up food
