The Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham-Richardson Telecom and Technology Center is located in the center of Richardson near Plano and North Dallas and George Bush Tollway and Highways 75 and 635. The spacious one and two bedroom suites are ideal for a short or long term stay offering fully equipped kitchens, living areas with fireplaces and pullout sofas. All suites have free wireless and hardwire access. The one bedrooms have queen beds with living area and vanity bath area. The two bedrooms have additional king lofts with second bedrooms and vanity bath areas. Our room was dirty, cig butts on porch, hair and dirt in bathroom sink, and then the plumbing didn't work and they had to change our room. They checked someone else in our room right after we checked in and they charged us a different rate then those people. When we checked out they said we owed more money, and my receipt said that we were paid in full. They said that the lady on duty gave us the wrong rates when she checked us in. I wanted to speak to the manger but he wasn't there. After about 45 minutes they said we could call back and talk to the mgr later. We had to drive 21 hours to get to Texas for a funeral and this is the last thing we needed. When I checked my credit card statement they charge me the extra money with out my approval and charged me the extra cost for the other peoples room also, that I didn't use or stay in. I have called and have yet to hear back form them.

The air conditioning vents were rusted. The patio had beer cans and it was dirty with cigarette butts and leaves. The service was very slow getting all cleaned up.
I am not likely
to return to the Hawthorn Suites Richardson Telecom Corridor.
I would not recommend it to friends.
